Management are the nicest people. We had a STUNNING sea view.
-
quiet place, you know. the staff were friendly, and the bed was comfortable. location was peaceful, the beach was close to the venue.
-
Enjoyed delicious breakfast, gorgeous room.
Nice base for 1 night. Liked view of the city. Hotel was in the central location
-
Friendly hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable & relaxing
-
Really classy place, room was beautifully designed and furnished with character.Staff were really friendly.
Could have done with a hair drier in our room.
-
Staff was very friendly, room was very nice and it is very central.
Nothing I disliked, very good for Brighton standards.
-
friendly staff, nice room, close to all the central attractions and good rate
room was rather hot and the electric fan was very loud, would make it difficult to sleep if you were a light sleeper

I stayed in the Deluxe, Superior King room and thought it was excellent value for money! Beautifully designed, the bed was comfy very clean, extra seating area and the bathroom was beautiful! I especially liked the big bath! You could also view the sea from the window which I wasn't expecting at all and given the price I thought was excellent for the location, the seaview and the room itself. I've stayed in a few hotels in Brighton before which cost considerably more, and they do not compare to Square! Absolutely perfect for couples!

The bed & pillows. I suffer with back/shoulder/neck problems and the bed/pillows were excellent. Great location too with a couple of great pubs nearby and a short walk to Lanes etc.
Room (6) needs a little tlc - evidence of damp, some things in the bathrrom need fixing. Would have liked to have know it was continental breakfast only.
-
breakfast room, breakfast and staff were nice. Rooms are cared for and pleasant some better than others but pretty decent.
toilet roll holder not repaired, damaged bedside table too. room cost a smudge high to justify what you get. bearable but a little high.

This is a great hotel in a great location in Kemp town area of Brighton. The hotel staff are really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a standard double room which was nice with a comfortable bed. We had a peek at one of the king superior rooms and these looked really nice. They were all booked for our stay but next time we would definitely have one of those. The breakfast is continental style but with a great choice and well worth getting up for. There are lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We go to Brighton quite a bit but hadn't really spent any time in this area, we both agree we would stay in Kemp town again and go back to Square as totally enjoyed our stay.

Although only continental, Breakfast was very nice, huge selection and very good quality, especially the fresh fruit.
Back rom was very small, didn't like glass door on bathroom and cleanliness could have been better.
-
Staff very friendly and recommended restaurants. Excellent continental breakfast - fabulous fresh fruit salad, cold meats, cheeses, huge range of . bread, pastries and cakes. Excellent coffee and tea selection. Wide range of daily newspapers to linger over. Room 3 was beautifully dressed and very glamorous bathroom with free standing bath and molton brown toiletries. Requested sea view and rooms reallocated to accommodate this. Nothing too much trouble. Free dvd library. Nice touch to have welcome call the day before to explain parking etc.
Only small things - no bin in main room, glass walls between bathroom lovely to see the sea from the bath, less so to see the toilet... Blinds would be nice! No towels etc replenished on second day but manager very apologetic and offered a free bottle of wine.
-
Convenient to all of Brighton's attractions. Very good and helpful service from the young man at reception.
